On Saturday the 8th of April at 12noon the gates will open for the 2017 Picnic Races.
Tickets are $20 each which includes the evening’s entertainment. Under 18’s are free, but won’t be able to stay late.
Courtesy Buses will be running around town so you don’t need to worry about the car sleeping over at the track. The buses will be doing circuits of the motels and pubs every half an hour from 12pm to 3pm.
They’ll then be doing the reverse, dropping people back in town at various locations from 6pm through to 2am.
Tickets are sold at the gate, so get your fascinators ready, suit up, and have a good day at the races.
More details are available on their own website.
We are hosting our next business breakfast: strategies to grow your local business. We have a great line-up of speakers for you to hear. They will be speaking about how they built their businesses and what they think makes them successful.
Tickets are available online, they are $30 each or $25ea when booked as a group. The event is on April the 6th, starting at 6:30am for a 6:45 sit-down. The price of the ticket includes a buffet breakfast and lots of coffee.
Our dear friends on the other side of the border have to wind their clocks back on Sunday.
Daylight savings has finally come to an end for another year. And that means that in the wee hours of Sunday morning (or in the late hours of Saturday night depending on your point of view) you’ll see 2am twice.
I’ve never seen them change myself, but I believe that NSW times will go from 1:59am to 1:00am. After that, they’ll be back to normal like the rest of us.
