In this week’s Goondiwindi Local News: Our first Pop-up is happening on the 16th of May, Grow Your Business with Instagram, presented by Roberta Ribeiro Fairbanks; The 2017 Goondiwindi Business Award Nominations are Open and going strong. We’ve confirmed our guest speaker for the 2017 Business Awards Gala Dinner is Dr Dr Rolf Gomes, from Heart of Australia. We’re very excited to hear his story, and we’re sure you will be too. Ashleigh McNaulty of Ashleigh’s Health & Fitness is hosting the Active Farmers at Goondiwindi Launch Event on Monday. Brooke speaks with Ashleigh to get some details. This year’s Easter on the Macintyre was a huge success. ANZAC Day is next Tuesday. There will be a Dawn Service at 4:28am in the Goondiwindi Memorial Town Park, a cemetery service at 8:30am, and a March to the Cenotaph at 10:00am. The Goondiwindi Show 2017 is only two weeks away. The show holiday is May 5 this year, so be sure to mark it in your calendar.
